Bonfire Night 2008 on Plymouth Hoe

The Avalon Guest House Plymouth Bed and Breakfast Guest House is pleased to provide details of this years Bonfire Night celebrations on Plymouth Hoe.Plymouth City Council together with local businesses are to host a Bonfire Night to remember on Wednesday 5th November. The spectular display will be accompanied by a dramatic soundtrack with music from the movies whilst Smeaton's Tower, The Citadel and the War Memorial will be colourwashed with floodlighting to compliment the glow of a traditional bonfire.The evening gets underway at 6pm with entertainment from Plymouth Sound on Plymouth Hoe Promenade directly opposite The Avalon Guest House. Fairground rides and food stalls will also make this year's event a treat for the whole family.
