The City of Plymouth has once again hosted The British Firework Championships. This is the 12th year of the Championships which has always been held in Plymouth. The quality of the displays seems to get better each year and this year was no exception. The competition is just one of the highlights of the summer in Plymouth drawing many thousands of visitors from throughout the region to the City for the spectacular displays.
Plymouth Hoe is a magnificent venue for the competition, offering spectacular views across Plymouth Sound, as well as a superb vantage point for viewing. The Avalon Guest House hopes visitors have enjoyed this year's competition and that you enjoyed visiting the other sites and attractions the City of Plymouth has to offer.
